Power that's ready every season.
Monitoring, ground-mount vegetation and snow management, inverter service, and warranty handling — scheduled around your planting and harvest, backed for 30 years.
Low-maintenance — but we're still on it
Farm solar asks little of you: no moving parts, and the weather handles most of the cleaning. The work that matters — watching production, managing vegetation under a ground-mount, servicing inverters and handling warranty claims — we do, on a schedule that respects your season. When you're flat-out at harvest, the system is still being watched.
Built around farm realities.
Monitoring, ground-mount care, and service that works around your calendar.
Monitoring & alerts
Production watched continuously, with alerts to you and to us — even at 11pm in the field.
Vegetation & snow management
Array height set for mowing/grazing and snow clearance; a vegetation plan so growth doesn't shade the array.
Inverter service & warranty
Preventive inverter service and full manufacturer warranty/RMA handling — by us, not a call center.
Detach & reset for barns
Re-roofing a barn under panels? We remove, the roof gets done, we reinstall — one call.
Service that respects your season
We plan non-urgent maintenance around planting and harvest, and prioritize anything urgent — a downed string, or a storage issue on a livestock operation where cooling and ventilation can't wait. Because we install what we service and handle the warranty claims ourselves, you get one local team that knows your system and your calendar.

Three Rivers Contracting
Barn or shop roof under an array? Our roofing family handles it, coordinated with our detach & reset — one schedule.

Frequently asked.
What maintenance does a farm solar system need?
Less than most equipment on the farm — no moving parts. The essentials are monitoring (we do it for you), keeping vegetation managed under a ground-mount, occasional electrical checks, and warranty service when needed. We back it with monitoring, scheduled service and long-term coverage.
How do you handle vegetation under a ground-mount?
We design the array height to allow mowing or even sheep grazing underneath, and keep a vegetation plan so growth doesn't shade the lowest modules. Managed ground cover also cuts dust and keeps the site serviceable.
What about snow on a ground-mount?
Tilted modules shed snow well, and we set array height to clear typical snow depth so the bottom row isn't buried. The minor winter loss is already in our honest estimates — and your summer banking covers it. We don't recommend manually clearing panels.
How will I know if production drops during planting or harvest?
Monitoring with alerts to you and to us — so even when you're in the field at 11pm during harvest, the system is being watched. If a string or inverter faults, we see it and schedule service around your season.
Who services the inverters and handles warranty claims?
We do — preventive inverter service, error-log review and end-of-life planning, plus full manufacturer warranty/RMA handling and the labor. One local point of accountability, not a farm-to-1-800 runaround.
Can you service around my planting and harvest schedule?
Yes — we plan non-urgent service around your season. Urgent faults (a downed string, a storage issue on a livestock operation) get prioritized so you're not losing power or production when it matters most.
What if I need to re-roof a barn under an array?
We detach and reset it — remove the array, our roofing family (Three Rivers Contracting) does the metal or shingle roof, and we reinstall and recommission. One call, one schedule, no finger-pointing. See detach & reset →
Do you service farm systems another company installed?
Yes — including ones orphaned when an installer left the market. We transfer the monitoring/maintainer account into our name and become your local service contact.
Does a battery on a livestock operation need special care?
Storage is low-maintenance and monitored alongside the solar; we verify it's holding capacity and ready to carry your must-run loads (cooling, ventilation, wells) through an outage. We flag any degradation early under warranty.
What long-term coverage backs it?
The insurance-backed 30-year Solar Insure warranty on the solar (and a 20-year battery warranty on storage), plus our own monitoring and service — so the system keeps earning for decades.
