Charge at home, drive on sunshine.
Fast, safe Level 2 home charging installed by licensed electricians — even better when it's powered by your own solar.
Home EV charging done right
Skip the public-charger hunt. We install Level 2 chargers cleanly, verify your panel can handle the load, and can tie charging to your solar so your miles come from your roof.
- Licensed, permitted, inspected installs
- Panel capacity check included — with upgrade or load-management options
- Hardwired or plug-in, including detached garages
- Pairs perfectly with solar + battery
Make your miles solar
An EV roughly adds the equivalent of a small household's worth of electricity use. Pair charging with solar and you can cover those miles from your own roof — we'll size the array for the added load and set you up to charge midday when your panels are producing most. Add a battery and you can even bank daytime solar to charge in the evening.
A clean, code-right install.
Everything from panel check to final inspection — no surprises.
Panel capacity check
We confirm your service can handle the charger and recommend the cleanest path if it can't.

Frequently asked.
How fast will my EV charge at home?
A Level 2 charger adds roughly 20–40 miles of range per hour — so almost any EV charges fully overnight. A standard 120V outlet (Level 1) only adds 3–5 miles per hour, which is why most owners want Level 2.
Do I need an electrical upgrade?
Sometimes. A Level 2 charger is a large continuous load, so our licensed electricians check your panel capacity first. If your service is tight, we'll either add a circuit, recommend a service upgrade, or use load management so you don't have to.
Hardwired or plug-in charger?
Both work. A plug-in (NEMA 14-50) is flexible and portable; a hardwired unit is cleaner, supports higher power, and is often preferred for outdoor or detached-garage installs. We'll recommend the right setup for your car and panel.
Can I power my EV from my solar?
Yes — and it's one of the best reasons to add panels. We can size your array to cover the extra miles and set you up to charge midday on your own solar, so your driving runs on sunshine instead of gas or grid power.
How much does home charging cost vs. gas or public charging?
Charging at home on residential rates is typically far cheaper than public DC fast charging and dramatically cheaper than gasoline per mile — and cheaper still if you're charging from your own solar. We'll estimate your cost per mile.
Can you run a charger to a detached garage?
Yes. We handle the trenching/conduit and wiring to detached garages and outbuildings, permitted and inspected.
What about a second EV later, or load management?
We can install smart chargers and load-management so two EVs share a circuit safely, or plan the panel capacity now so adding a second charger later is simple.
Is the install permitted and inspected?
Always. Every EV charger we install is permitted, code-compliant and inspected, by licensed electricians (MN EA761814).
