iSolar Celebrates Two Years of Successful Partnership with Solar United Neighbors
Since 2022, iSolar has been a proud partner with Solar United Neighbors helping Minnesotans go solar. For those of you who don’t know, Solar United Neighbors, or SUN, is a cooperative of community members whose mission is: “Building a new energy system with rooftop solar at the cornerstone. We help people go solar, join together, and fight for their energy rights.”
At iSolar, we believe that all Minnesotans should have the ability to produce their own energy. Sound similar? We think so. In the past two and half years, iSolar has been a proud supporter of SUN cooperative members and worked closely with SUN staff to provide solar energy to as many customers as we can.

Below are a few SUN members we have worked with and what they had to say about the partnership, our work, and their solar project.
Ray Valley gave us five stars and said, “They won the bid for our solar coop participants. The detailed financial forecast model they ran for us gave us peace of mind about the investment. It showed that it wasn’t their “first rodeo” and the install went pretty smooth. They were very responsive about questions and concerns I had and got the necessary permits all lined up. After some production and scheduling delays (which I understand), it appears our array actually overproduced this summer compared to predictions, which I’ll take any day!”

He answered all my questions thoroughly before and after installation. A few months after the papers were signed, the panels were installed and connected to the grid. The building inspector found one little thing to improve. But iSolar fixed that within a few days and the panels have performed great for 1.5 years now. I would recommend iSolar to anyone.”
