Your array is a revenue asset — we keep it earning

A commercial system that's installed and forgotten quietly loses money: studies put neglected-system losses around 15% of production. Our O&M exists to protect the number your project was sold on — through monitoring, scheduled service, and fast response when something faults. And because we install what we service, warranty claims are ours to chase, not yours.

What full-service O&M includes

A layered, documented program.

Not a once-a-year glance — a real maintenance program for a real asset.

📡

24/7 monitoring & alerts

System- and string-level data with automated fault alerts and a response SLA.

🔥

Infrared thermal imaging

Annual IR scans find hot spots and failing connections before they take a string down.

🔧

Electrical & inverter service

Quarterly connection-torque and IV-curve testing; preventive inverter service and end-of-life planning.

📋

Reporting & warranty management

Board-ready performance reports and full manufacturer warranty/RMA handling.

The inspection schedule

We follow a layered cadence proven across commercial PV: monthly remote and visual checks of modules, inverters and structure; quarterly electrical testing — connection-torque verification, IV-curve tracing and infrared thermographic scans to catch hot spots invisible to the eye; and an annual comprehensive review of all equipment, cabling, grounding and site conditions. The monitoring runs continuously in between, so most issues are flagged the day they start.

One accountable team — even for orphaned systems

If your commercial array was installed by a company that's now gone, we'll take it on: we transfer the monitoring/maintainer account into our name, re-establish alerts, and become your local service contact. No more wondering who to call when a string drops.

Good questions

Frequently asked.

Why does commercial solar need a real O&M plan?

Because it's a revenue-producing asset on a 25–30 year clock. Studies show proper maintenance can recover roughly 15% of production that neglected systems lose — that's real money off your payback. A plan keeps the array performing and the warranties enforceable.

What does your commercial O&M cover?

Full-service O&M: 24/7 performance monitoring with alerts, scheduled inspections, electrical and thermal testing, inverter service, cleaning/soiling mitigation where it pays, warranty-claim management, performance reporting, and a defined response time for faults.

How often do you inspect a commercial array?

A layered schedule: monthly remote/visual checks, quarterly electrical testing (connection-torque and integrity, IV-curve tracing) and infrared thermal imaging to find hot spots before they fail, and an annual comprehensive review of modules, wiring, racking, grounding and site conditions.

What is thermal/IR imaging and why does it matter?

An infrared scan reveals heat signatures from failing cells, bad connections or hot spots that you can't see by eye — so we catch and fix a problem before it takes a string offline or becomes a safety issue. It's standard in our commercial inspections.

Who handles inverter service and failures?

We do, and we coordinate OEM-certified service where required to keep warranties valid. Inverters are the most service-intensive component; we review error logs, run preventive service, and plan for end-of-life replacement so a failure doesn't blindside your budget.

Do you manage warranty claims for us?

Yes — we handle the manufacturer warranty/RMA process and the labor, so you're not chasing a panel or inverter maker. With the equipment we install, that's a single point of accountability.

What reporting do we get for finance or our board?

Periodic performance reports: production vs. expectation, uptime, consumption and (with storage) demand management — the documentation finance, sustainability or a board needs to see the asset performing.

Do you service systems you didn't install?

Yes. We take on commercial systems orphaned by installers who left the market — including transferring the monitoring/maintainer account into our name so we can monitor and service them.

What about cleaning and snow on a commercial roof?

We mitigate soiling where the data shows it pays (dusty sites, heavy pollen, bird pressure); for most Minnesota roofs, rain and snow-shed handle it. We don't sell cleaning you don't need — the monitoring tells us when it actually matters.

Is there a response-time guarantee?

We set a clear response SLA for faults so a downed string or inverter gets attention fast — downtime on a commercial asset is lost revenue, and we treat it that way.
