This Edina family chose a 25-panel, 10.75 kW rooftop array backed by 20 kWh of Enphase storage — enough to ride through outages and shift energy use on their terms.
We built on Enphase IQ8 microinverters and paired the array with two Enphase 10C batteries (20 kWh) for whole-home resilience. With storage, the home can lean on its own stored solar in the evening and keep critical loads alive during a grid outage.
The system is owned outright in Xcel territory — the household keeps the production, the net-metering value, and the security of stored power.
Because the homeowner owns this system, they keep the energy savings, the net-metering value and the resale value — iSolar doesn’t do residential leases or PPAs in Minnesota. (The federal residential solar tax credit ended December 31, 2025; the value here is ownership and decades of net-metering credit.)
