We matched the array to the home’s real consumption rather than overselling it, built it on Enphase IQ8 microinverters, and added a 10 kWh Enphase 10C battery for outage protection. A right-sized system means a cleaner payback and no wasted capacity.
Owned outright in Xcel territory, it delivers daytime self-supply, net-metering credit, and backup for the essentials.
Because the homeowner owns this system, they keep the energy savings, the net-metering value and the resale value — iSolar doesn’t do residential leases or PPAs in Minnesota. (The federal residential solar tax credit ended December 31, 2025; the value here is ownership and decades of net-metering credit.)
