This Minnetonka home needed real capacity: a 33-panel, 14.19 kW rooftop array backed by 20 kWh of Enphase storage, installed in the heart of a Minnesota winter.
We built the array on Enphase IQ8 microinverters and paired it with two Enphase 10C batteries (20 kWh) for whole-home resilience. A December install is no problem — we build year-round, and a larger array offsets a larger household’s winter heating and lighting load.
Owned outright in Xcel territory, the system delivers self-supply, net-metering value, and stored backup power.
Because the homeowner owns this system, they keep the energy savings, the net-metering value and the resale value — iSolar doesn’t do residential leases or PPAs in Minnesota. (The federal residential solar tax credit ended December 31, 2025; the value here is ownership and decades of net-metering credit.)
